Jen Schneider, award-winning author and the Interim Associate Dean in the School of Public Service, conducts research addressing challenges in the public communication of scientific and environmental controversies, with a particular focus on the energy industry, discourses of technical expertise, and the politicization of science. Jen frequently works with local, state, and federal agencies as a facilitator and stakeholder engagement specialist. Her work has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
