I am currently a student in Boise State’s Respiratory program. My interest in healthcare first started while I was in the military. Since then, my goal has been to work in health care. Attending an open house presented by respiratory care at Boise State is what changed my life and my professional direction. Being a respiratory technician is appealing to me because it doesn’t restrict you to one department within the hospital. I am in the process of accepting a position at Duke University Hospital.
