“Getting a trade or a skill is one of the most important things you can do with your life. because one can take that away from you,” advises Chad Mitchell, a member of ISU’s Technical Advisory Board. Working for his father throughout high school, Chad attended ISU with the dream of someday owning and managing his family’s business, Industrial Metal Enterprises. Along with his business partner, Rick David, they have realized their dream and are continuing to build IME and employ other graduates of ISU’s College of Technology.
